Oil Power. Here a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Dennison, Ohio, in December of 1967. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1457, an EF-15A built by GM-EMD as number "9670" in April of 1949, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and renumbered "1457" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. Partially visible at the right is #2415, the AF-24A built by the American Locomotive Company in September of 1963 and rated at 2,400 horsepower. |
