Situated in the very center is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6733, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A during May of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in May of 1944, and retired in September of 1959 after 29 years of faithful service. The road numbers of the other locomotives pictured here are not recorded. |

In this context, it's pulling a mixed-cargo freight train from Altoona to Enola. The photographer's name, the date, and the location are not recorded.
