BELEN NM Oct 2 1982 -- With a wave from a crew member Santa Fe C30-7 8040 leads a TOFC-COFC train. GE built the locomotive in June 1978. Santa Fe retired the unit in November 1992 and sent it back to GE. It then went to Conrail where it was rejuilt, renumbered and repainted to CRL 422. It went to GE lease in January 1999, to Helm before March 1999 and finally to Fadale and Associates Inc as FAIX 3609 later in 1999. (Roster information from atsfrr.net) |
