4160 is the first ever GP-7 ever built, and you can go and see it at the Illinois Railway musiem, and she is in operation, and is moveable under her own power!!!

For clarification, IRM owns several Geeps. C&NW #4160 is not the first GP7 Demo unit, it is a former Rock Island unit. C&NW #1518 is in fact the first GP7 and has been at the museum since the mid-1980s. However it has been tucked away in Barn 2 undergoing restoration work. This is not to be confused with Southern Pacific #1518, the first SD7, which is also a part of IRM’s collection.
