| A CN container train passes Kampo Rd. as it heads southwest via a remnant of the former C&NW main line, now relegated to a passing siding, at Neenah, WI, on 24 Oct. '20. Train had two locomotives, IC 2726 pulling as well as CN 2689 pushing. The former SOO rails, also in use by CN, run parallel along the other side of the train. The building in the background to the left was home to Plexus' Neenah Design Center, 55 Jewelers Park Dr., Neenah, WI. Erected in 1987 and expanded in 2000, it has stood vacant since 2017, when they decided they needed another new office building in downtown Neenah for some stupid reason. At least one tenant has occupied part of the building recently. |
