North Philly Action, 1965
WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took during a trip on Pennsylvania Railroad passenger trains from Wilmington to Altoona on 28 March 1965. Shown here are three PRR trains, as seen from the North end of the Station platform in North Philadelphia. The train on the right is the one that I rode from Wilmington; it is shown departing for Trenton and New York City. In the center is the caboose of a northbound freight train. On the left is a passenger train from New York City heading to Washington.
