| George Lavacot's (aka Lavacot Locomotive Works) pair of old SP SD9s rest on the old Valley & Siletz main line. I thought these were usually parked in or near a building and were totally inaccessible, yet you could walk right up to these to get shots (in the morning, for best light) if you so desire. All that stuff in the foreground is part of the CWR plant, I believe. I don't know if the P&W owns the CWR plant or if it's a private concern. |
