Judging from the mountain in the background, I would say that this photo was taken somewhere near where Wauhatchie Yard is now located. I'm 95% sure that is the southern leg of Lookout Mountain in the background.

This is the opposite side of Lookout Mountain, in the Alton Park community and not in the L&N yard. This is where TAG had their yard and shops. It is important to remember that this locomotive was delivered numbered 50 and not 801. Garrison Siskin, the owner of TAG decided to dedicate the locomotive to Mr. Hedges and he directed EMD to number it 50 in honor of Mr. Hedges' 50 years of service. What confuses people is that there is a builder's photo with 50 on the cab flanks but 801 in the number boards. This reflects the fact that the locomotive was originally to have be numbered 801 until Mr. Siskin made the change. It was delivered to TAG with 50 in the number boards.
