| The "James Whitcomb Riley" crosses the Great Miami River at Hamilton on B&O's Indianapolis line. This train later became the "Cardinal" and this is now its usual route, but at the time of this photo, the Riley was detouring on this line from Cincinnati to Cottage Grove, IN due to problems on its regular C&O route. Amtrak 644 was later Santa Fe 5266, BNSF 6976. |
