For rail track maintenance works there are over 20 companies active in Switzerland: SERSA Group, which currently employ approximately 1,000 employees on building sites of every dimension across the whole of Europe and North America. SCHEUCHZER AG is another track maintenance company with 300 people and 25 dedicated machines. Some building companies have their own rail division for tunnel work as MARTI AG.
