| Album Info: | June 16th was my first day at Georgia Tech, and after checking into my dorm i decided tj do a little railfanning. I went down to the Spring St. overpass and sat down over the tunnel under the World Congress center. As i was walking up a NS local with two GP60's snuck up on me. After that it was dead for quite a bit when one CSX freight rolled through. After that the action picked up with two more CSX's and one NS. As i walked back toward Tech on Marrieta St. i saw a parked BNSF coal train under the Jones Ave overpass. As i was walking towards the overpawq a CSX freight chugged past headed up the Georgia Sub. Then out of nowhere a set of BNSF GEVO's pulled up, žpparently the DPU was having trouble, not sure what exactly was happpening, and didnt bother to stick around but it made for some interesting shots. |
