| Album Info: | Today was the second snow day this week, most of the snow had melted off the the trees but still plenty left on the ground. I broke my scanner antenna yesterday so i was railfanning nearly blind with the rubber ducky. Upon arriving a southbound snuck up on me but i managed to get some good shots. Afterwards since i didnt have the car i hiked from the Athens depot to Paradise Valley along the old Southern where i found the Athens Line about to go to work. I was able to get a cab ride but as luck would have it the chainsaw was broken and the replacement blade didnt fit, so we couldnt go to the interchange in Center, but i didnt manage to ride along while they switched the industries. Afterwards 3 CSX trains passed within an hour and a half but i was unable to get any good shots. |
