Album Info:The photos in this series review over 40 Amtrak moves thru Perryville, Md. on Thanksgiving Sunday, Nov. 25th 2007. I was on the platform from sunrise until just after sunset and photographed all the action. I attempted to tag each move with the correct train number from the Amtrak Thanksgiving Timetable, as well as from the National Timetable for the long distance activities. Extra moves used Amtrak, MARC, and NJT equipment. All together during the 24-hour period there were something like 75 scheduled trains on this end of the NEC. There were a half dozen meets in front of the station or close by. It made for an interesting day tack side. In addition Norfolk Southern graced us with train 12N headed north for the Chrysler Plant in Newark according our NS on scene expert. Also included is the History Wrap Acela. It will take a few days to edit all the photos with train numbers and times. If that info is of interest come back early next week for the details. /DL
