| Album Info: | From January 11 to January 13, this year, I took a train trip from Fredericksburg, VA, to Topeka, KS. This ride consisted of the Northeast Regional (Fredericksburg to DC), the entirety of the Capitol Limited (DC to Chicago), and part of the Southwest Chief (Chicago to Topeka). Naturally, I got a lot of photos during that time-several at Union Station! We had a two-hour wait in DC, so I amused myself by going out on the platforms and getting shots of some of the engines idling in wait. A conductor on one of the trains eventually told me I was trespassing, but this was after I'd passed about eight others that didn't seem to mind, so I guess as long as you avoid the grumpy conductor, you're alright for taking shots there.
