| Album Info: | KC, John, Sean & I started on Keystone #660 at Lancaster. We lost 45 minuets on the trip to Philly because the Sprinter shut off three times. BTW the cab car we rode in had a leaking roof. We transferred to another set of equipment, met Bill & arrived at NYP at 11:30. At this point our best option was to take the #2 subway direct to 125th St. & board a New Haven train to make a connection at Stamford with the New Canaan train, shooting from the platform at 125th of course. Well we missed the New Canaan connection because of a (we thought) closed staircase & my losing track of our timing. This put us back on our original schedule so we shoot a few Amtraks & M8s then we follow our original plan with dinner at the Oyster Bar upon returning to Grand Cantral. We find out the Times Square Shuttle was not running so down the hole to the 7 train to start the process to get back to Penn Station & Keystone #669 to get us home. We make it with about a half hour to spare to take an uneventful trip back, arriving at Lancaster on time. We'll ride that New Canaan train eventually! |
